Our mission is to empower communities by advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through sustainable initiatives that eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, promote inclusivity, and ensure gender equity. We strive to create resilient societies where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, fostering an environment of collaboration and empowerment for all.

Our Story

Founded in 2023, Betako emerged from the recognition that traditional education systems often fail to address the unique challenges faced by young people in Liberia. Our founders, a team of educators, technologists, and mental health professionals, came together with a shared vision of creating an educational model that addresses both technical skills and mental wellness.
